These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the djavaherbhaus website and purchase of products. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Business Information

djavaherbhaus is a botanical ingredient house based in West Java, Indonesia. We sell refined botanical extracts for cosmetic formulation use only.

2. Products & Intended Use

Our products are raw materials for cosmetic formulation — not finished consumer products. They are intended for use by cosmetic formulators, indie beauty brands, and R&D professionals. Our products are not intended for direct application to skin or scalp, and are not for consumption.

By purchasing from djavaherbhaus, you confirm that you are purchasing for cosmetic formulation purposes and understand that these are not finished products for end consumers.

3. Orders & Payment

All orders are processed through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, VAT/GST collection, and remittance. By placing an order, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Order Confirmation

After submitting an order via /checkout.html, you will receive an order confirmation email. A separate invoice will be sent via PayPal for payment.

Payment Methods

We accept payments via PayPal (primary) and Payoneer (backup). All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, once you have submitted an order, the price is locked at the time of your order.

4. Lead Time & Shipping

Lead Time: Our standard lead time is 4–5 business days. Every extract is freshly made upon order. We process in small batches, and orders are handled in sequence.

Shipping: We ship to Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, and United Kingdom. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Tracking number provided via email once shipped.

Customs & Duties: For most countries, customs duties and taxes are not included in our price. You may be charged by your local customs. For DDP shipments to the United States, duties and taxes are included.

5. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products (botanical extracts for formulation use), we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival.

Damaged or Defective Products

If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at folium@djavaherbhaus.id with photos of the damage and your order number. We will assess and provide a replacement or refund.

Change of Mind / Buyer's Remorse

We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect selection, or incompatibility with your formulation. We strongly recommend testing with 1 bottle before committing to larger quantities.

Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed via PayPal within 14 business days.

6. No Warranties

Our products are sold "as is" for cosmetic formulation use. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

You assume full responsibility for testing our products in your formulations and complying with all applicable laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, djavaherbhaus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or inability to use them, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, graphics, logos, product names such as "Eclipta RootCore™", "Rosemary ScalpFlow™", "Cica ScalpCalm™") is the property of djavaherbhaus and may not be used without our written permission.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of West Java, Indonesia.

For international customers, you agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at folium@djavaherbhaus.id before pursuing any legal action.

10. Subscription / Auto-Renewal

We currently do not offer subscription products. All sales are one-time purchases. If we offer subscriptions in the future, this section will be updated with cancellation terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were made. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
